Cooperstown Cookie Company Hits “Sweet Home Run” in Town & Country Magazine
Cooperstown, NY, September 25, 2005—The Cooperstown Cookie Company’s signature product, the Classic Baseball Shortbread, is featured in the October issue of Town & Country.
“We are happy that we continue to receive positive media coverage, which goes a long way to reaching new audiences,” said Pati Drumm Grady, President and CEO.
The article, titled “A Sweet Home Run,” is one of many in a long line of media coverage for the company. “I feel like the little engine that could,” commented Grady on this recent exposure. With modest beginnings just a year ago, Grady’s shortbread cookies have turned the heads of media outlets such as The New York Times, Newsday, Specialty Food Magazine, Sporting News and The Times-Union (Albany), among others.
Grady’s personal touch is evident not only in the tasty recipe, but in her hands-on involvement with every aspect of the business. Grady redefines the phrase ‘chief, cook and bottle washer’, by taking an active roll in everything from baking to branding. She even helps with packaging the cookies in their keepsake tins.
The Cooperstown Cookie Company, founded in Cooperstown in 2004, develops and distributes high quality, made-from-scratch specialty cookies, including Classic Baseball Shortbread. Our cookies are baked by hand in small quantities at Pathfinder Village (www.PathfinderVillage.org), a residential community for children and adults who have Down syndrome. A portion of Cooperstown Cookie Company’s profits is shared with Pathfinder Village.
