Family Circle Highlights Cooperstown Cookie Company

[Cooperstown, NY April 23, 2008] The May issue of Family Circle, the popular magazine with a circulation of 3.8 million, highlights the “baseball-inspired treats” of the Cooperstown Cookie Company. Describing them as a “home run,” the magazine cites the Cooperstown-based company’s shortbread baseball cookies, chocolate baseball caps, gift towers, and cookie mix.

“To kick off baseball season, we are excited to feature the Cooperstown Cookie Company- makers of delicious treats inspired by America’s favorite past-time. High-quality and festive, gift sets make giving easy, or grab the kids and whip up your own batch of tasty shortbread baseball cookies,” says Katie Kemple, food news editor at Family Circle.

Cooperstown Cookie Company president and founder Pati Drumm Grady says Family Circle readers have been calling and ordering. “We’re so pleased for the opportunity to let more people know about our products. Our baseball cookies deliver both gourmet taste and wholesome baseball fun.” Grady said the company has a high rate of repeat customers.

In Family Circle, the Cooperstown Cookie Company was featured in the Food News section, alongside Seattle’s Best Coffee, Tupperware and Kashi. “Family Circle is such a well-regarded magazine, with enormous popular appeal,” says Grady. “We’re delighted with the article.”
